I'm In Love

Yes! I love You so, so much! Cos You've showed me what love really is. I can never imagine where I'll be if I didn't have You in my life - I wouldn't know my purpose, no meaning, joy and someone to share and live for.

God has been very real to me. I know even in times when I'm not as faithful, He is near. Thank You God. You are all I want to life for. My heart just longs to be with You forever.

Yup, just a little testimony.. I experience a little healing today. Been having this sorethroat and all for the last week. And when Pastor Yang prayed, I felt something in my throat and I now know it is gone! Hallelujah! Praise God!

I want to believe for greater things in my life, for NTU and for the nations... My God is so big! let me dream for things as big as You are!

Really looking forward to this week. Know its going to be super busy, but I'm believing its going to be worth it! Fire Conference this Friday and Saturday and I pray that as Reinhard Bonnke comes to Singapore, may he bring the annointing of God and fire down as well! May I catch part of what God has in his life.

Updates!

Gosh, so long I didn't update my blog...
Well, its been a pretty busy week. Since yesterday, my company has this compulsary OT of 10 hours perweek! They say its optional for us interns. But decided to join the rest... be a team player ya know.... show that I'm commited...haha...

A lot has happen.. spiritually. First of all, thank God for my exam results. Did much better compared to last semester. So far, God has showed me that if I rellied on my own, its nothing..but if I lean on Him, then its a blessing...y? Cos looking back at my results so far, those I thought is a gone case, I get A. Those I thought I did fairly well... turned out lower than expected. And I want to really thank God for bringing me through Advanced Tax. I came out of my first class that day, going home to cry...honestly I did... thinking I'm going to flunk it! Surrendered it to God...and you know what? I didn't study that subject until the last week before exam, and I got an A! Praise the Lord! God, you are trully good!

I even met two stranger online who added me on messenger. To cut the thing short, they asked me if I could be their gf....wat?! Thank God for though I have never had a bf, I feel secure and in no hurry to find one. God has dealt this area of my life, and yeah I've surrendered it to Him. Surprisingly, our cell had a loooonnggg discussion last Sunday after lunch about starting courtship..haha... I totally agree with their stand. After that, only did I realise that actually, I have many guy friends around who are single! haha... waitla..

k la..its 2am and I need to get some rest. Been working more than 12 hours a day. Just came back from cell midnight...time to zzz.

Global Day of Prayer, 4 June 2006

It was a superb prayer meeting... with thousands of Christians gathered together to pray.. the biggest prayer meeting I've ever been. No doubt God was there with us.
First it was the beautiful weather...
Then, things went out smoothly...

They started off with repentance, especially for our double mindedness...yes, I think this has hindered many from walking closer to God... busy with so many other things, we get distracted. Instead of pursuing God, I pursue after other things of temporal value.. forgive me, God... help me fix my eyes on You.

Next, was the reconciliation of the denominations... high time the churches unite... put away our differences... focus on what is essential.. fulfilling the great commission!

Finally was prayer for the nations. May your name be made known to all the earth!

The stadium being filled with fellow believers praising God...hallelujah! Trully God, you are great! There is no one like you.

Affendy's Wedding 27 May 2006

The groom's family with the bride, after the tea ceremony...

Before wedding dinner at Westin Hotel, KL... (me, jo, my aunt, cousin and her bf) . My first time attending a very western style wedding. No 'yamseng' much to my delight. Instead it was just a toast. No karaoke too! Just speech from the bestman, bride's maid, groom and bride and the groom's dad. Super good dinner too...with really good food and the waiter's serve everyone, instead of grabbing from the same plate. Really an experience.

With parents

At Rennaisance Hotel, KL. After dinner... The hotle is really posh. Almost RM400 a night! but we stayed for free! yippee!
