peak taking its toll

i noticed that i have not updated my blog for some time now. my life is like a roller coaster.

work wise - some weeks are good, some weeks are like shit. thankfully audit is not quite a routine. so, i am not getting bored. new people, new engagements, new offices to visit. but then again, i have been booked on this huge job which is starting on the first week of our "off-peak". i deferred my leave by 2 weeks so that it won't clash with the job, out of courtesy. but the senior now is asking me if she could extend my booking for another month!!!! s***.

social life - i am thanking God for the friends that He gave me. there is a group of colleagues that i have bonded with since we joined the company... and last sunday was the first outing we had outside work... and we are planning for our bintan getaway in June hehe... kinda looking forward to it.

am using my weekends to the max that i sometimes sleep less during weekends hahaha

family - i miss my family. its been 4 months? since i last saw my bro.

and i wil be alone for a week as my roomie went home. hate to admit this (and i honestly think it is silly).. that i am having a slight problem falling asleep. (i hope my roomie doesn't read this hahaha... i'll be so embarassed). i have been sharing room with someone all my life - be it my sis, parents (when i go home and my sis is not back, i sleep in my parents room! haha faints) or roomates. i always have problem falling asleep when i am alone in the room.... that sometimes i resort to leaving the lights on. duh! well, everyone has a weakness right?

so, considering this little problem that i have, i think i can forgo the plan of renting a room to myself. but on a long term plan, i need someone. God, only u know who.

busy weekend

my saturdays are always packed till i don't have any breathing space
or so free that i have nothing to do at all (usually this happens when i am too lazy to plan anything).

been thinking, singapore is such a small place that there is nothing much to do on weekends (other than shopping, or anything that causes a huge hole in the pocket). you see, ever since i start working, there is no need to study and catch up with work over the weekends (and of course, if you choose not to work haha)... and if I don't go to shopping malls where else is there to go... everywhere is crowded.

so far, the best is to just hang in the nature parks. i love it.
