Dear God, Thank You for Being There For Me

Yup, it's officail, ladies and gentlemen.... my first year in NTU has finally come to an end.

Thank God exams are over and it's now time to relax for 3 months!


Well, what can I say. Many things have happen within this one year. God has uprooted me from my comfort zone and place me in this totally new environment. I honestly didn't see myself here studying accountancy. Never imagine myself to be groomed to enter the corporate world, what more being caught in this fast paced environment.

But I thank God for You've held everything in place. I'm no accident.

Being away from home was the hardest part. Especially since this is my first time being left all alone to defend myself and that our family is very closely knitted. Remember the tears shed whenever I taught of home. But God, You've strengthened me. You're my defender here and have given me a new family - my friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.

Your grace has always, always been sufficient. There were times I was drowning in studies and work, put You aside, But You were still there right beside me. Ive come to realize that my studies are nothing. This life is for You, not my own pursuit.

I'm still amazed how You've so wonderfully sustained me. Every breath and step I take, all I do, the people in my life are all from You. I thank You so, so much.
