Recap so far

This blog feels like its going to pupus (go extinct).... k, time for some updating.

Have secured a job. Thank God I won't have to worry about unemployment upon graduation. But, but it means I have to really count my days to the end of my uni education, which also means having holidays, late mornings, can choose not to go class if don't feel like to etc etc...
Sad, sad, the next few years in auditing will no doubt cause me to age faster... all the stress and late nights... someone sponsor me some anti-aging supplement :)

Leaders' retreat was fantastic... although its called a retreat, I always say (and will keep to my stand) that it is never a retreat. Instead, we spend hours brain storming (sometimes till we storm our brains out I think)... it's all worth while. NOthing can be compared to the joy of serving our Lord Jesus. Though it may really s-t-r-e-c-t-h us beyong what I can imagine (doing ministry work instead of school work), I guess when I look back, its really by the grace of God. Am looking forward to next semester.... though I know I may have to miss some due to MEET.

As yes, MEET preparation so far has been mind blowing... doing lots of reading on Japan, their culture and all... reading about missionaries (just finished Hudson Taylor).. After reading and what we've learn through the trainings so far, I realize how shallow my thinking about missions have been. Am even doubting whether I can really be a missionary. I feel so inadequate - I know so little about Christianity (theologically speaking) and I just lack the guts to evangelise sometimes... argh! hope that by the end of the trainings and all the months of personal preparation, I will trully, trully be prepared to preach the word in season and out of season.

I am learning a lot... okok, got to get back to prearing my Christmas sermon. I can't imagine that I have to prepare one and it is to be presented to a group of ex-drug addicts!
